Halloween CD in works

OK, the long awaited Halloween CD is in the works. Big things coming up for Damage Control this year. We've finished writing and creating a few things for professional corporate type clients and now it's onto the really wacky stuff. Expect some of the traditional D.C. humor with some added twists. Hell we made fun of Christmas so now lets rip Halloween a new one.

THE ADVENTURES OF JOHNNY BUTTNUT and other tall tales is finally complete and ready for release. Press CD's will be going out this week and look for it on itunes, tower records and CDbaby. Knocked Up

Just watched Knocked Up for the second time and I love it even more. Apatow writes my kind of comedy and because of it, I have started watching Undeclared and it has become one of my favorites as well.

It always boggled my mind when I would see a movie like Wedding Crashers (which I enjoyed as well), do far more business than a movie like 40 Year Old Virgin (which I found far superior). I blame it on the chicks, my friends. Chicks will see a movie like Wedding Crashers over and over because they love the guys in it, while the Apatow films appeal to the geeks. There is no guy to drool over in either 40 or Knocked Up. Unfortunately, this crap matters.

The No Show - Potential Pilot

Our delightful producer rep has developed a relationship with one of the higher ups at Comedy Central and is actively pitching our stuff. Our first pilot, The No Show, was met with much enthusiasm though it needs some tweaks. Take a look and tell us what you think.

Will Ferrell - Landlord Video

OK kids here is the link for the new Will Ferrell short "Landlord" on www.funnyordie.com - Our new CD is almost done. Second No Show is still on the way. I know our fans have been waiting but I'm editing as fast as I can. We will do final CD recordings this week and then the new Funny as hell currently untitled album will hit the site in the next 2 or 3 weeks. The Rep

Looks like our group is on the verge of finally getting some representation. We got too many chiefs and not enough people to get us some money. We're supposed to finalize thangs, as they say in the hood (or at least the hood in my mind) in the next week or two and then announce our upcoming projects.

What is this site for?

I'm a member of the Damage Control Comedy Crew, a Tampa based sketch comedy group. Just like everyone and their mother, we are trying to make it in the biz. This site, unlike our main site, is for the members (not that kind of member) to just pontificate on the the trials and tribulations of trying to make it.
